Pregnancy 101 is a great place to explore the world of female reproductive health and to learn about the potential pit-falls and opportunities on the road to conception. We will tell you all you need to know about getting pregnant. Should you come to need additional information about fertility or fertility treatment in the days and months ahead, Fertilitext (including our Community Bulletin Boards) will be here for you. For many, there will be no need to explore our other Pathways. For others, it may well be worth taking a quick peek along one or two of them. For instance, I strongly suggest that women over 35 explore our pathway 36 and Over in addition to this one.

Some of you may not experience difficulty conceiving when you make your decision to become a mother. But, if you have taken time out of your busy schedule to visit us, it is likely that you are concerned about the many issues and choices involved in conception. Because conception can sometimes be more difficult than expected and because without intervention it can sometimes take as long as a year to get pregnant, some of you may even be wondering What’s Wrong. And many of our visitors are often very anxious or confused about the reproductive process and the mechanics of The Female Body. I want to step back and take a moment to address these and other concerns that many of you are experiencing. I want to start with what it means to begin the journey toward motherhood.
