Open gifts at the end of the party. Determining the best time and approach to opening the gifts is often a challenge. The advantage of opening the gifts at the end of the party is that there is less time for the gifts to be broken or pieces to be lost. In addition, it is difficult for young children to appreciate all gifts equally.
